International Justice Day Celebrated at Geethanjali High School


On the occasion of International Justice Day, a special awareness programme was organized at Geethanjali High School, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Shapur Nagar Division.
Addressing the gathering, Madhubabu Chikile, National Director of the World Human Rights Council, explained the significance of the day. He stated that 17 July marks the adoption of the Rome Statute in 1998, which led to the establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
He highlighted that the ICC works to deliver justice to victims of war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed anywhere in the world. He also shared this year’s message:
“Justice Beyond Borders – Strengthening Accountability, Protecting Human Dignity.”
Speaking on the occasion, the school’s Correspondent, Mahipal Reddy, said:
“Where there is justice, there is peace; where there is peace, there is development.”
The programme was attended by Skillocrat Webtrix’s Sandeep Ballem, Chaitanya Kumar, members of the teaching faculty, and students.
